Which does not ask me if I am Punjabi or Pathan,
Which do not care if I belong to Sindh or Baluchistan ,
Which do not make me being a Mohajir part of Hindustan .

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan;
For which my ancestors fought and died.
Where the vision of Sir Syed was to thrive ;
And dreams of Iqbal were to grow & strive.

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan ;
Where the dream of our Quaid is supreme.
Which do not worry about selfish desires;
Where we live another day to achieve his dreams.

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan ;
Where we live each day for one desire.
Hoping that forever our nation is united;
Where we are safe from divisive fire.

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan ;
Where everyone gets for what they strive.
When merit is the only one reason to grow;
Where your ethnicity is not the reason to thrive.

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan ;
Whose rulers are true & sincere .
For all must know that for the dismal deeds;
We would treat all equally as severe.

I wish tonight to wake up in a Pakistan ;
Where we live to let live only for one admiration.
Than to live in a nation where religion is a contest;
We forget that path to grow is through Enlightened Moderation.
